The cost can go upto crores but then, for a little bit of stardust... So what does this shaadi season entail? Informs wedding planner Meher Sarid, "Dia Mirza and Aakriti Kakkar will perform for a Bangalorebased industrialist family in Delhi in mid-April, while Priya Sachdev's wedding may also see some stars performing.
An industrialist family of Udaipur is trying to rope in Salman Khan." However, she remarks, "Actors are not accepting weddings like they used to because they feel hassled as they have to interact with all the family members and relatives from both the sides.
Javed Jaffrey gave up performing in Delhi for the same reason." King Khan heads the list when it comes to charging for the weddings. "SRK charges between Rs 2-3 crores, and can only be afforded by people like Lakshmi Mittal.
So, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are the most popular amongst the public. They take between Rs 30-60 lakhs while John Abraham charges Rs 10-15 lakhs.
Emraan Hashmi is also getting popular," informs Jain. And who's hottest amongst the women? Rajeev draws three categories. "Category 'A' comprises of Sushmita Sen, Rani Mukherjee, Bipasha Basu, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Shilpa Shetty, Mallika Sherawat and Lara Dutta.

They charge between 25-35 lakhs. Category 'B' includes Mahima Chaudhary, Malaika Arora Khan, Dia Mirza and Amrita Arora. They take between 12-17 lakhs.
And category 'C' is of Neha Dhupia, Yukta Mookhey, Anupama Verma, Meghna Naidu, Koena Mitra, Deepal Shaw and the likes of Rakhi Sawant, Shefali Zariwala and Sanobar Kabir.
They perform for Rs 2-5 lakhs and are most in demand." However, there are actors who don't perform at all. Reasons trade analyst Taran Adarsh, "They are the ones who are not good dancers like Ajay Devgan, Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt.
Aamir Khan also doesn't dance at weddings too. But if he were to, he would command as much price as Shah Rukh Khan." Remarks Jain, "Even Abhishek Bachchan doesn't perform for weddings at all."
